The 19 October entry expanded attack coverage, added the Starting Move purchase and introduced five more interface languages. This is a historical patch summary, not a claim that a new patch appeared today.
Published patch date: 2026-10-19. Reviewed: 2026-10-21. Historical notes can contain rules superseded by later patches; this is not a live server-status report.
What Changed
- The author announced 38 new moves, including homing, bouncing, charged, spinning and vortex attacks. All types then had at least five moves.
- Starting Move lets each Pokémon buy the option to choose its opening move. The snapshot price is 400 coins; it is separate from the 13 regular permanent upgrade tracks.
- French, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese joined Spanish and English. A single-type partner gained a 20% bonus with its own attack type.
- Learning a new attack stopped switching the active attack automatically. Third-party game embeds were changed to show a notice directing visitors to pokesurvivor.com.
Current Context
The 20 October patch subsequently repaired several evolved projectiles. Use the current 103-move database, with 97 evolution definitions, instead of reconstructing today’s rules from an older count.
