I would rather leave a number out than invent one. When I write a stat, I name the file and the version. On 21 October 2026 that version is d2dfaee739 from version.json. Pages show that date as article:modified_time and in the sitemap.

Rules for this guide

1. One page, one question. The tier list ranks. The best-Pokémon page tells you who to start with. They link to each other and do not share a title.
2. Official files outrank other websites. If a wiki disagrees with pokedex.js, the file wins and the disagreement is named.
3. Player posts stay in the first person of that player, or I say “a player reported.” I do not turn them into patch notes.
4. No cheat script, no mod download, no account token. The cheats page explains what is local and what can freeze a co-op room.
5. Corrections go to [email protected]. If the file changed, I update the page and the date together.
