PokéSurvivor 2026-10-12: Rifts and Historical Overtime

The 12 October entry reduced long gaps between rifts and fixed several mobile issues. It also briefly introduced 60-minute overtime, which the next day’s Judgment update removed.

Published patch date: 2026-10-12. Reviewed: 2026-10-21. Historical notes can contain rules superseded by later patches; this is not a live server-status report.

What Changed

  • Failed rift checks increased the next check’s chance instead of repeating a fixed independent chance forever. The current source uses a 20/40/60/80/100% progression when checks are eligible.
  • Rift legendaries no longer always awarded a ten-pull ticket; the changelog described a one-half chance. Unbeaten legendaries received extra selection weight.
  • Critical Hit, Card Reroll and Ban were added as per-Pokémon permanent upgrades. Active melee gained a defensive benefit.
  • The author reported fixes for iPhone move switching while using the joystick, selection menus and fullscreen guidance. Old player reports should be read with that repair date in mind.

Current Context

The 60-minute overtime and early leaderboard thresholds in this historical entry are not current guidance. Arceus Judgment arrived on 13 October; later patches changed leaderboard eligibility and save timing.
