Sign in on pokesurvivor.com, open Friends, add the other player by nickname and invite them to your room. The official guide describes a maximum of four players, shared experience and reviving a fallen teammate by standing nearby. The 20 October notes remove online indicators: any friend can be invited, unused invites expire after three minutes, and new friend requests appear when Friends is opened.
- Cap is 4 players. GDD.md scales enemy count by ×(1+0.75(n−1)) and enemy HP by ×(1+0.3(n−1)).
- Cloud save uploads when you press Save, or before a game update. The browser still saves locally immediately. Press Save before you switch devices.
- The 20 October patch reports fixes for host freezes from impossible experience and guest freezes from oversized effects. It is not a guarantee against every room freeze.
- Guest moves Ominous Wind, Sand Tomb and Whirlpool now pull enemies. Guest Hex now bonuses burned, poisoned, or slowed targets.
- If level-up cards close before a choice, they reopen, so the room is not stuck waiting.
- Per-Pokémon leaderboards count runs of at least 5 minutes. Other boards still start at 2 minutes.
- Level-up choices wait for the team. The ordinary pause menu is personal in co-op and does not pause the whole room.
