Difficulty complaints appear on the author’s itch community board, but upgrades are not a guaranteed fix. Level-up choices put the game into its levelup state and pause combat; there is no need to rush through a card to avoid enemies attacking during that choice. Co-op waits for the team’s selections. The ordinary pause menu is different: opening it in co-op does not stop everyone.

  1. Consider the permanent movement upgrade first if escaping crowds is the problem. This is a situational recommendation, not an official priority list.
  2. After 18 October, read whether a card is physical or special. Take the side your partner’s pa or sa actually supports.
  3. Single-type partners deal 20% more with their own type, from the 19 October notes. A dual type gives up that bonus for coverage.
  4. The 18 October patch caps healers, shielders and summoners at three each and changes boss healing and shields. Do not treat older healer-stack reports as the current balance.
  5. Permanent upgrades are per Pokémon: 13 regular entries plus the separately purchased Starting Move entry make 14 in this source snapshot. Starting Move costs 400 coins once per partner and then lets you choose an eligible opening attack.
